Fabian Williams Meets the Mayor of London

Equestrian athlete and University College London (UCL) representative Fabian Williams recently met with the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to discuss the ongoing development and community impact of the £1.1 billion East Bank project.

Representing UCL East, Fabian spoke about the university’s role in creating new educational, creative and career opportunities for young people across east London. The conversation highlighted the importance of connecting local communities with world-class institutions and creating pathways into higher education and high-skilled industries.

Located at the heart of the East Bank development, UCL East forms part of a major cultural and educational hub alongside institutions including UAL’s London College of Fashion, the V&A East and BBC Music Studios. Fabian’s involvement reflects his continued commitment to education, opportunity and inspiring young people to pursue ambitious futures.
